About the Author

SJ Parker

SJ Parker is a born and bred Geordie, a lifelong Newcastle United supporter, and a veteran of the Royal Air Force, where he served for five years before a long career in IT. Outside of work he spent over a decade playing and coaching Rugby Union to a high level. He is happily married to Lynne, with two grown-up boys and an ever-growing tribe of semi-feral cats. He remains a dog person.

A fan of fantasy fiction since childhood, he grew up on Tolkien, moved through Stephen Donaldson and David Eddings, and spent years with Gemmell, Moorcock, and many others. For over twenty years he made notes, drew maps, and built worlds. Footprints in the North is the first of those stories to make it off the page, and he is now knee deep in the next, bringing more tales from the world of Sui-Denas to life.
